Striker Didier Drogba claims he is fit and ready to return for Chelsea whenever coach Avram Grant decides to pick him.
Drogba's injury problems had led to speculation that he could miss the African Cup of Nations.

However, the 29-year-old claims he is 'feeling good' and ready to return for both club and country.

On Friday, Drogba was named in the 23-man Ivory Coast squad for the tournament in Ghana.

"It is a difficult situation for me and for all the African players who are at the club and we want to play the maximum games for Chelsea," Drogba told Chelsea TV.

"I would like to play, but it is up to the manager to pick me.

"I am feeling good, recovering from this injury, and it's good to be on the pitch and start training again."
