Victory Grant 1-0

Chelsea manager Avram Grant was a relieved man after seeing his side squeeze past Queens Park Rangers 1-0 in the third round of the FA Cup.
Grant said: "It was a typical cup game. We did our job, that is most important for me. We are in the next round.

"QPR played tactically very well. They were very clever and closed the space very well.

"It was a game like we expected, we held the ball most of the time. They tried to score at set-pieces.

"We scored one goal and created more chances, but what is important is to be in the next round. In the cup it is important to do your job and we did that."

Meanwhile, Grant has admitted that he is on the lookout for several new players due to injuries and African Cup of Nations commitments.

"Because of all the injured players and everything else, we are thinking about everything," he added.

"Basically we didn't want to change so much because we have a good squad, but we have had some unexpected injuries and because of the African Nations Cup we are thinking about things."
